Winter Trip with Iqa

I finally met my best friend again last Winter. Since travelling in Europe can be quite mess, we decided to went with Kelana Convoy on their Highlight of Europe. This is not a Kelana Convoy's review just a simple travelogue. As I'm not gonna give some review or comment but I can assure you that this is the cheapest yet easiest way to travel around Europe specifically for a Muslim.
The only thing I don't like is that there are limited time to visit famous places. Some of the places such as Notre Dame in Paris is sometimes left out from the schedule, so you have to go by yourself. My advise : Travel alone or a group of 2-3 person to maximize the time.

Volendam and Amsterdam, Holland

Our first destination is Volendam. It is a small village near the sea. During our visit, the wind is too strong! We learnt how their traditional shoes were made and how the produced cheese. We also learnt how they process diamond. Not to forget the wonderful museum in Museumplein where the word "I amsterdam" and the famous Van Gogh Museum stand

Brussels, Belgium

Then we headed to Brussels. Sadly Mini-Europe were closed. So, we visited Atomium and walked around The Grand Square and City Hall. This place somehow reminds me of Marienplatz, Munich. Not far from the Grand Square, stand the famous Mannequin Piss. I wonder what make the statue of peeing boy so famous? We ended our journey here by eating the famous Belgium Waffle

Luxembourg

One small country in Europe. Also one of the richest country. we visited the place purely on architectural reason.

Lauterbrunnen, Switzeland

I never knew that Switzeland isn't part of EU! That would somehow explain why I was charged when I try to withdraw some money. and somehow, everything is expensive. Our main event was the Jungfraujoch. As stated everywhere they could, Jungfraujoch is the highest mountain in Europe or "Top of Europe" Alhamdulillah, The weather was wonderfull when we went up. Since it is so bright and my stupid self forget to bring sunglasses, I bought one at Kleine Scheideg. Headache sometime slow down our trip due to lack of oxygen. But this place really is wonderful. Great for winter sport too.

Paris, France

Some people said that this place is romantic. Well not for me. I never walked around feeling unsecure about my Belongings. In Paris, pickpockets and con artist are everywhere! Somehow, I try to ignore them and make my trip more memorable. We visited everywhere we could and shopped to our heart desire. Somehow I do regret as we spent too much time at Grand Arch. For me, the trip to Fragonard Perfume Museum was the best. I learnt a lot about Perfume and buy some too.

This is certainly one of my best moment in life! Lets go somewhere else together again, Iqa!

All by Myself

Yup, I travelled alone! This is my first time travelling alone and I am certainly glad that I took the decision. This is going to be a long post if I were to talk about travelling alone. Be thankful that I don't have so much time and energy to type all those thing. So, I'll just cut the all-about-travelling-alone part and skip to my experiences!

Liverpool

I visited Liverpool to meet my old friend from primary school. Aqilah has been living in Liverpool since God know how long. Aqilah has show me a lot of interesting places in Liverpool. I skipped Anfield since I am not a fan of football

With coach, I had a 8-hour journey to London. When it come to London, no one has to tell you anything. It is all about, The Big Ben, Wesminster Abbey, Tower Bridge and many other historical places and monuments. It is also all about Harry Potter. On my second day in London, I visited Warner Bro Harry Potter Studio Tour. It was amazing and I wouldn't mind to go again.

Second Semester

If it was a game, I would say that I have level-up to level 2. Nothing get easier. It getting tougher and tougher. With the second semester of my study, I have a lot of new subject and a lot of praktikum. Making it worst, I need to repeat my Physics' paper and find a new apartment. I decide to make this semester better. I will be planning my day accordingly and try not to waste time. I want to achieve my goals for this year.

Summer semester. The horror. There will be a lot of tiring Praktikum, a lot of annoying Report. From my view there will be no vacation for me this semester. Well, I had enough travelling during last winter break. This semester is definitely a nightmare. Some of Colloqium of test will be an oral test. Exam for Excel/VBA will held this semester too. I couldn't imagine anything worst

First Goal achieved. I enroll in Japanese class at my university. As I expected, I am the only foreigner. The class is to me can be both interesting and boring. Interesting? because I learn the language officially and correctly. Boring? I already learn all some by myself and thre isn't a lot of Vocabulary that I learn from the class yet. I am planning to continue the class until the end, until I can speak proper Japanese. Although learning Japanese in German can be quite tiring.

Apartment Hunting. This is the important yet disappointing. my friend and I have been to some House-Visit or Besichtigungstermin with the hope that we get to rent the apartment. I really confused! How the hell the choose the person who will rent the room? Sometime I got the feeling that all of this happen because we are foreigners. I really hope that we can move in before examination start at the end of this semester

わたしは日本がすきです!

as the title transliterate - Watashi wa nihon ga suki desu! I love Japan! Everything about it. I might as well be called a typical foreigner who fanatically admire Japan.

I come from a country full of our own tradition and culture called Malaysia. And Japan attract me as it has a lot of unique culture and tradition too.

I want to complete my master in Japan
I want to learn Japanese (in process ↖(^▽^)↗)
I want to wear Yukata
I want to learn Kendo
I want to know eberything about Japan

One friend once told : "You just want to relate everything with Japan, didn't you?"
